1 KAU = 1 gram of allocated gold; 1 KAG = 1 ounce of allocated silver (native Kinesis Mainnet, a Stellar fork). An ERC-20 wrapped version also exists, issued by KMS Labs S.A. (Panama), representing a 1:1 claim on native KAU/KAG.

Global vaulting network operated through Allocated Bullion Exchange (ABX) partners, spanning Sydney, Brisbane, Singapore, Hong Kong, London, Zurich, New York, Dubai, Liechtenstein and others.

Fully allocated per Kinesis's own materials. Kinesis Cayman is the issuer of native KAU/KAG; KMS Labs S.A. (Panama) issues the ERC-20 wrapper as a 1:1 claim on the native asset.

'Holder's Yield': 15% of Kinesis's platform-wide transaction fee revenue (mint/transfer, exchange trades, card spending) is pooled and distributed monthly, in-kind (gold to KAU holders, silver to KAG holders), proportional to each holder's share of total KAU/KAG held on the platform. This is a genuinely different yield model from PAXG/XAUT (which pay none) — it's usage-fee-funded, not interest/lending-funded, so it can vary with platform transaction volume.

45 bps mint/redemption fee; 22 bps for Kinesis Exchange trades; 22 bps for Kinesis Pay spending. No separate storage fee — vaulting is funded from this transaction-fee revenue.

UPDATE (as of 2026-09-23): a more recent, independent physical-gold audit was conducted Oct 21-23, 2025 by Inspectorate International across ABX's full global vaulting network, verifying 1:1 backing of all KAU/KAG in circulation against a Oct 17, 2025 ABX inventory report — Kinesis states audits now run biannually. This is genuinely new since the original research and specifically addresses vault-inventory verification. It does NOT address a separate, still-unresolved question: whether ABX's disclosed negative net assets (~-$10.6M, FY2021 audited financials, 'Disclaimer of Opinion'/'Going Concern' note) or the 2022 incomplete-audit incident (37% of holdings inaccessible via an Istanbul vault transfer) have since been explained or resolved — no information was found on either. Keep both facts: the vault-inventory question now has a positive, dated, named-auditor answer; the parent-entity (ABX) solvency question remains open exactly as originally researched.
